Auto RotatingSupport

    Hi guys,

    This is my first real post (apart from introducing myself in the Introductions thread).

    I'm curious about the orientation option. I have my HTC Magic set to auto rotate, but I can only rotate to the left (counter clockwise).

    Also, some apps (such as Stickies) doesn't rotate at all.

    And lastly, should I be able to rotate the home screens? Sometimes if I leave the device held width ways from typing / sending a message, and press the home button, I get a quick glimpse of the home page rotated. Then it snaps back to portrait.

    Any advice?

    If the app supports it, you can rotate it. It's that simple. If the developer didn't include landscape view it's not possible to put the app in landscape.;)

    I thought so. Ta.

    What about the home screen? Should it be able to rotate? Mine cannot. Also, I can only rotate CCW. Can anyone rotate CW?

    If, as discussed in your other thread, you go down the rooting/custom ROM route you can get additional auto rotation functionality.

    I run cyanogen ROM and will rotate the home screen and many programs to both the left and right
