    Hi just got an htc desire and want to play avi/mp4 video have tried mvideoplayer did not work can someone please recommend a player thanks

    Keep in mind that AVI is just a wrapper format and the specific codec used matters. Make sure that your solution supports whatever codec is used in your AVI's.

    Hi.
    I used the converter above and I still can't get my video to play on my Samsung Captivate. I chose the MPeg4 file format to convert to. It looks like its going to start and then says the video can't stream on this device. Do you know which file format I should choose to convert it to? I'm new to my phone so I apologize in advance for being a novice. Thanks!
