i would suggest you simply run an ruu. the current t mobile us ruu is here:

this one is a .exe file that you run on your PC.

if youd rather install from your sd card,use this one:

it is a .zip that you can rename PG58IMG and install via hboot.

if your hboot is unlocked you will have to relock it first.

do not turn s-on,it offers absolutely no advantage whatsoever,does not affect your phones normal operation or ability to accept OTAs,and could very possibly come in very handy in the future in event of a soft brick,or if you wanted to reroot.

running the ruu,will make you 100% stock,as if youd never rooted in the first place. just holler if you have further questions

where do you look to see hboot is locked or unlocked?

same screen that says whether you are s on or s off- hboot. Hold vol down/power to get to hboot.

If you have a revolutionary,or juopunutbear hboot,consider yourself to be locked
