    Hi guys,

A couple of weeks back, I debranded my Desire after getting bored of waiting for Orange....best thing I've done (phone wise)!
Anyhoos, before I debranded it there was an option for backing up data to the sd card. I was just bored tonight and curious if it was still automatically updating now I have generic Froyo. I checked how to do it and found this:

HTC Desire - Backing up phone data

However, if I press settings now there is no option in the menu for 'Privacy' like there used to be. Can somebody please tell me if Froyo still backs up your data automatically and how I find the settings for this?

    Thanks

It does, but you have to use the search button to search for "privacy". Its no longer in the menu.

Press the search key, and search for privacy. Scroll down the results and find the entry with the green cog.

When I press the search button when in the settings menu nothing happens.

If I press search from the homescreen it just does a websearch?

How can I search the phone?

    Thanks
    Paul
