Backup *everything* on SGS with no USBSupport

    Hi,
I need to backup everything on my faulty SGS before it gets replaced tomorrow (USB broken). I'd rather use Kies since I am familiar with it but can't get it to connect via bluetooth and have no idea how to use it with wifi. I haven't really time to learn much new software and I can't root it.

I have looked a dropbox, KiesAir and google and these all offer partial solutions but nothing complete. I would like to save texts and phone logs as well as photos etc.

    Can anyone help?

It's probably too late, as tomorrow has come and gone, but for others who may be reading this, you can copy all of your data from your built-in drive to an external SD card. Then pop out the SD card and copy to your desktop.

Ok, that sounds good.....but what exactly are the steps involved ?
How do you copy all your data to the micro SD (external) card?
By 'all of your data'....what all does that include? Contacts, Settings, Apps ?

    Sorry for the late reply.

You could either copy the data from the internal card to your micro SD card just using file management software on your phone or after you have connected your phone to your desktop, using a file manager like Total Commander etc.

You could even skip the step of copying the data from the internal card to your micro SD and just go directly from the internal phone memory to your desktop.

What 'data' are we talking about here?
    Anything you want to copy!
The trick is you need to know where it's located.
There is no 'manual' that tells you where to find the stuff unfortunately. :(

So you have to go fishing yourself on the phone or wait until knowledgeable people here tell you where to look. :)
The data is all over the place.
