I've had a spare charger I bought from Amazon that I use when I'm not at home. So this charger is always in my car or at work. Well even though this charger looks just like the charger that came with the phone, it doesn't act like it.

It takes twice as long to charge the phone & it also makes the screen act ******ed to where you can barely unlock it.

I had hooked the phone up while it was off to charge it to see if it would get a better charge. When I took it off the charger, the phone was really warm. I thought nothing of it & turned it on & went about my day. Well after that the phone would not keep a charge to save it's life! The percentage was falling alot faster than normal & when I did try to charge it, it would barely charge & as soon as I took it off the charger, it would start falling again.

When I got home, my phone was dead. I put it on my good charger to see if that would work. The battery light was blinking. I figured it was just so low that it would blink for awhile. Wrong. When I got up this morning, the light on my phone was not on at all. I went to turn it on & nothing. I have a buddy with an EVO who has the same battery, so I tried his out & the phone still will not come on.

So looks like my phone is dead. Too bad. I love this phone. Well looks like I'll have to get a new one. Not trying to upgrade to anything else. And I'm not ready to switch carriers yet since Verizon doesn't honor Unlimited Data Users who want to get 4G. Now I know if the charger i messed up not to use it I guess.

Verizon will honor your unlimited data even if you switch to 4G.

My younger sister had Unlimited Data & when she got a 4G phone they made her get a tiered plan.

Did she go through a third party or verizon? Verizon has officially stated that they honor all current unlimited data users. So if she had unlimited before she should be able to get it back (unless she went through a reseller).

No I found out it's because she didn't already have a smart phone when she went to 4G. If she had had a 3G phone prior, it would've been honored. Thanks for shedding some light on that. I still wanted to fully explore the Incredible so I got another one today. It's not as pretty as the one I owned, but a case will make it look fine.
