Root Barnacle Not Working .. Please Help

When I start Barnacle all I get is

"Please wait while windows connects to the Barnacle network. Waiting for the network"


Barnacle used to work on this laptop .. but I was running windows 7 Pro and Velocity V2

I am now running Windows XP Pro and Velocity V3 with the GNM Turbo 4 with kernel

Incase it matters .. the laptop is an HP EliteBook 8440p

Ive been working on this issue for about 8 hours .. on and off.

You've probably already done this, but just making sure. You have the right drivers installed in your laptop for WiFI?

Yep .. wifi works fine at my office and home .. got the drivers right off of HP's site.
