Battery issue, related to Download, and Media Service

So there is alot of issues about battery and the "Media" Service with the Android phones the past year, and I just cant seem to find a fix.

If you search "Media consuming Battery", you'll find solutions to turn off DownLoad Service as a solution, and yes that works.

But then you cant use the App Store and get a ton of the Gapps have stopped working all the time. And the solution for that is to turn back on Download services.

Damned if you do, and damned if you dont.

Yep, thats the phone I have. Note 2 with Sprint.
