Help Battery Never stop charging ?

Having a very strange problem, when the battery on low, plugged into the charger, it charges for at least 12 hours but it will still going.

Then I unplugged it, take the battery out and put it back in, it is fully charged..

Wonder is it the battery problem or the phone?

I am thinking it cound be the battery cos it is slighly bloated .... One thing i hated about HTC Desire HD is their battery slot, once the battery is slightly bloated, it is nearly impossible to slot it back it or take it out of the slot .

batteries shouldn't be bloated, and if they are it's a sign that they've been overcharged and damaged.
