I would not recommend an aftermarket battery for the Pro. The NFC antenna is built into the battery and it seems like the underlying OS has a "smart" driver for the battery.

If samsung sells a bigger battery that has the Pro listed as a compatible device I would expect it to work but I make no promises.

Also: patience. The Rugby Pro has a smaller online following and the few of us lurking about on the forums tend to get daily or weekly digests for new posts.
