"Battery reserve-like" app

Hi,

I'm looking for an app that shuts down my phone when my battery is about 5%. I found "Battery reserve" but this app isn't compatible with my Sony X10 Mini pro.
My phone always shuts down when I'm not at home and when I need it... It makes me crazy ^^ !

So, do you know an "Battery reserve-like" app ?

Have you tried Juice Defender? I'm not sure that it can shut down your phone, but you can setup the app to shut off battery draining options at a set battery %. I haven't used this app myself, so do your research before getting it.

I use tasker to shut down all radios except voice @ 20%. Tasker is a little over kill for just this but once you start using it you will find all sorts of uses for it.

Yes I tried Juice Defender but this app can't shut down my device.
Can Tasker do it ? I don't see this function on the android market.

I don't think any app has the ability to shut off your device without root permission. So if there is an app that can shut off your device at a certain percent, you might find it by doing a search for 'root shut down' in the Market.

why would you want to shut down your phone at 5%, anyway? That's barely enough juice to turn it back on without external power. You might as well leave it on and let it die lol

Jerofld, are saying that no app can shut off my device cause of root access ?
I made a search with your key words and I found some interesting app to schedule my device but not shut down it.

But nevermind, it's ok... I'll schedule my phone to optimise the battery life
