Battery Saver App for Droid Bionic

Hi:

Can anyone recommend a good battery saver app for Droid Bionic phones. I currently have Mobile Care App that has a battery saving feature but I don't think it does such a great job.

Most battery "saver" apps use up for battery than it saves.
But if you want, you can try out JuiceDefender.

I know what you mean, I used Juice Defender wasn't crazy about it. I guess I'll stick with what I have.

If you root your device, you can install SetCPU or ROM Toolbox Pro to adjust how much power your processors use to cut down on battery usage.

On my S2, I keep it at 800Mhz instead of the full 1200Mhz off the charger and have a profile set to put it back to 1200Mhz when it's plugged in. I've been able to get a good amount of battery life just with this. Just a thought

How would I go about rooting my device to adjust the power of my processor? I am not Droid Bionic savvy when it comes to these types of changes.

But if you're not too tech savvy, make sure you read all the directions carefully and ask whatever questions you have to make sure you don't brick you're device.
