Help Battery Temperature seems high to me

Last I couldnt sleep so I go on my phone, turned on the wifi and started surfing some of my car forums. After a while I noticced a lot of heat was coming from my phone, so I looked at my battery app (its called batterylife), it will show you the temp and the voltage of the battery. The app showed the battery at 120 fernhiet degress. Is it normal for out battaries to get that hot?

113 to about 115 seems to be the most oft reported "normal" range for the Captivate's battery, uLs1a.

I'd check to make sure GPS and other resource heavy functions, widgets and syncing apps are not all active at once.

120 seems high for prolonged use.. but I'm not so sure it would damage the device if only momentary.
