Best Browser?

    I have only used the stock browser because a buddy said that the dolphin browser wasn't that good....any suggestions on good browsers??

    I love opera mini 5. While it doesn't have pinch zoom or flash it loads pages so quick. The speed advantage is so great that I use opera as my daily browser. It's great especially when reading forums.

    I use the stock browser and haven't found a need to try anything else. I also don't use the browser that much, so I may not be the best judge.

    I agree with those above who like Opera and Stock. I use Opera Mini 5 more than the Stock browser now. I just wish I could make that my default browser, as it's a lot faster.

    I do use Dolphin on occassion for pesky sites with Flash or to download YouTube or Flash videos.

    I havn't figured it out yet... I don't think there is a way.. which really sucks since Opera Mini is by far the fastest browser... if anyone can figure out how to do this, or can reach the opera devs, please suggest this to them. It's the only thing holding me back from being top.

    I use XScope which I think is better than the stock browser, although this new update they just released seems to have slowed things down substantially. Hopefully they will release a fix for that soon.

    When you load up a webpage for example from a link outside a browser it will ask you open with..
    You can check the box that says set to default and then click the browser you would like as your default

    Correct me if im wrong but Opera can't be set as default. Thats the only reason I find myself not using it 100% of the time. Its so fast :D

    Don't take your friends word for it, download it yourself and try it, it will take less than 2 minutes and you will have your own opinion!

    Anyway my browser of choice is Steel, and has been for a long time.

    I have not been able to set Opera Mini as a default.
    And, no, it doesn't do pinch zoom... you have to tap the screen for a zoom.

    I like Dolphin Browser. It's plenty fast for me and beats the stock browser in some features. A bit bloated with things I don't use, but it has been reliable and fast for me.

    Couldn't get used to Dolphin browser. I stick with stock or Opera mini. The opera might not have the pinch to zoom, but the double tap zooms right where you want it to. Seems like when I use pinch to zoom I have to then scroll to where I want to read stuff.

    I used Opera on my last phone (WinMo) and liked it there very much, I might give it try seeing all the Glistening reviews here.

    lol Yeah i just noticed that too. But it still needs some work if it wants to claim itself as the best browser. Hopefully they don't clutter it up like the rest though.

    Opera claims that their browser is better on data transfer too. I assume everyone here has unlimited data though..

    If you want a browser with the pinch zoom feature, then try Dolphin, although it's bit confusing to use... I def like Opera Mini... And soon, Skyfire will be coming out for Android! Can't wait! :D I loved Skyfire HD when I had my Windows mobile phone. Unfortunately the Android version is not out yet, but they're working on it! =]
