I did a search. There were pretty much only old posts , alll before the update, and none regarding this cable that I could see. It just went out of stock recently, I'm sure it will be back.

But thank you kind troll for adding your useless post.

Thanks for the link, but I think I'll wait for Amazon - I feel safer buying from Amazon because they stand by their products.

I'm just wondering if anyone has used it / it works.

Sorry, I posted the link to the listing that I bought mine from last week. But if you search ebay for HDMI EVO cables, you'll find a lot of cheaper options.

you posted mini, type C. The Evo is a micro, type D.

And if anyone is interested, I have two Molex 2 meter micro HDMI to HDMI cables collecting dust. Bought a few. Haven't even used the one I'm keeping yet. Haven't had the need. $15 shipped via fedex.

been lurking here for a while so figured I would contribute for once...this was posted on another forum about a firefold hookup. They sell good cables so worth a look.

The dudes name is jesterfx (obviously) if you need to say who sent you to get the discount

And here is the link to the one that the deal is for: FREE SHIPPING - 6 Foot Micro HDMI High Speed Male To HDMI Male Cable

Mine is in the mail :)

After the update I have noticed its still better to get the Sprint one. The amzer one locks up the phone.

I got the Amzer 15 foot one and a no-name 5 footer from eBay and both work fine. I say that annoyed that the only video player recognizing HDMI out is the stock video program; the Divx program and a few others I've tried don't send the video to my LCD, while the stock program does just fine.

Can you provide a specific link to the correct cable rather than just spamming the site link? I like monoprice as well but they don't (or at least didn't) have the correct cable.

In case you are clueless, the evo requires HDMI A (male) to HDMI D (male). HDMI D is also known as "micro" (not mini) though many retailers will mix up the terms. So just make sure it has HDMI D.

Firefold DOES have the correct cable and I just got mine in the mail. It's a good cable, perfect length and has the gold plated connectors.

After testing it does work. Though I've yet to get a decent quality picture lol. Not the cables fault though...but the "ripped" movies I had on my EVO were not HD and it definitely shows on your tv. The couple videos I recorded with my phone were in a dark room so those also looked pretty crappy. Youtube videos looked decent as long as you have wifi (or I guess 4G) and choose the HD versions. Some of those were even bad though.

Hoping I just need better source material though or the novelty will wear off quick.

But the cable is great (as I've always had from them) and it came super quick. It's about the same price as the cables you can find on ebay/amazon from less known sellers and way cheaper than buying from sprint.

    Happy with mine.

Monoprice does not have the type d hdmi cable. I wish they did as I just ordered some USB micro cables and a displayport cable from them.

Can you relax? Do you realize how obnoxious you're being over nothing? I didn't intently "spam" if that's what you wish to call it. I was trying to help, it was an honest mistake. Totally forgot that the internet is serious business.
