What is the one you like most?
Every battery widget I've tried, they all drain your battery more lol....
ya thats what im starting to notice. I just like to see a percentage
yeah sadly they all seem to be counter intuitive, they show you how much battery is left while simultaneously draining the battery...not cool...I stick with the one in the notification bar.
Agreed with above.
If I had to pick one, it'd be the one HTC put out (check market).
I have resigned myself to having a shortcut to Spare Parts on my home screen, and click into that and go to battery percentage to see what the battery percentage is. It takes a couple clicks, but doesn't drain the battery like the widgets.
i use battery life by curvefish ....and i have not noticed any batt drain from it
i just have task manager running with the battery percentage active in the status bar. whats wrong with that? this way no need to have a widget stuck on one of the 5 homescreens.
+1 for htc battery widget
Same here. Usually the indicator at the top is good enough, but when curiosity gets the best of me, I just make a couple taps and boom, there it is.
The HTC widget DOES use up battery at a noticeable rate. Took a few days to realize what was happening. Once I got rid of it, I was back to normal.
Battery indicator by darshan computing, it sits in the notification bar and shows % left. No noticable drain after a week or so, tried the curvefish widget, but it seemed to use up the battery faster. For $.99 it'll change colors when you get low but its free otherwise.
I had a app on my palm 700p called Power Hero. it was amazing app, and i haven't found an app like. So i would like an app, that gives you that option like Power Hero. an option like to auto turn off a feature, like turning off Bluetooth, or Network and so on. And the best option tell you the time remaining left on the battery.
Any Ideas Thanks
"battery widget" by mippin.com - shows percentage, tap it and it brings up GPS, display, wifi and bluetooth connection on/off.
Thanks i will check it out. my phone is to dead right now.
Thank you a million times! That is what I have been wanting from day one! Now I don't have to unlock my phone to see how much battery % I have left.
I also agree it seems to be the best for conserving the most battery. I've used Battery Widget, as well as HTC's battery widget and they both seemed to drain my battery a little faster than I'd like.
+1 im liking this one . Thanks
Are you saying that the CurveFish one costs .99 to show the extra info? I don't think that is right... I have that one, and got it to do all of that for free...
Just tap on it, then go into the settings menu, also you can change the color settings at will...
Unless they changed something?
No. Curvefish eats your battery, BatteryIndicator costs $.99 for the Pro version
THat's wierd too, because it rarely shows up in my Spare Parts app...
huh. I guess I will have to check in on that...
Never noticed it in spare parts but did notice the battery draining faster than before i installed it.
can you post a screen shot of the curvefish batt usage from spare parts .....i just checked mine after reading your post and its not on mine at all and thats the only batt widget i use
where do I get the widgets to show memory left, I have a rooted phone btw
On the market search : SD card Memory widget and Internal memory widget.
I use both of those and they are the ones pictured. Like them a lot.
thanks, also my SU screen for authorizing root stuff is just blank when I need to authorize root explorer, any idea on how to fix it?
turn usb debuggin on
