Best RSS reader (except Google Reader)?

    What would be the best RSS reader if one excludes greader?

    Er, there are many threads asking exactly this question already. You can search these forums, if you didn't know.

    I like NewsRoom, but it doesn't sync with Google Reader if thats important to you. FeedR and NewsRob do, and both have good reputations.

    Those are the usual suspects. I go back and forth between NewsRoom and FeedR. With Newsroom you don't get a summary of all the DL'd articles. You have to scroll by each.....which can be a bit of a pain if you have alot of feeds. If not, I think that's a good one though no sync with google reader. FeedR is good too but it always gives me bogus numbers of new articles. But that's Ok since I don't do auto updates. And it gives you summary headlines. I'd try the free version of each. I tried NewsRob but it seems to have alot of bad links.

    I can't find feedR on the market. Am in the only one?
    I find only fannFeedR

    OK, found it. It is only available on the "paid apps" market. Just had to switch SIM cards and I could download it through WiFi.
