im looking for a good twitter app, just wondering about opinions on the best one on the market?
touiteur is the best imo
Twicca is nice and minimalistic
How do you see trends on there?
Nevermind found it.
I'm using Seesmic
it's free and works wonderfully
Twidroid Pro is still the best. I used Seesmic for awhile and liked it, but Twidroid is better conceived. Touiteur just tries to be too pretty.
i dig twidroid, its what i started with and haven't turned back. seesmic to me just didn't do what i wanted. touiteur is a close second, but it seems as if it loads slower, i don't think it does, but it seems that way
I would say that my favorite are Twidroid PRO, Touituer, and Seesmic, in that order. ive used them all alot, but ive always gone back to twidroid, its def my favorite out there.
I really like Touituer. It is Free, but if you want the widgets you have to pay for it. I reied the widgets, but they do not automatically update. However, I emailed the developer and he said he is working on it. This is my favorite twitter app right now.
i like seesmic
touiteur loading has been fixed. I personally think it is the best. Wish it was free for the premium, but I definitely think the 1.99 is worth the constant updates and instant help.
I really like Seesmic, I say go for that
seesmic=multi accounts... ftw!
It was twidroid for a long while till my avatars vanished. Clearing cache did not help. Maybe just needsa reinstall. But seesmic has been great. Its better than it was at launch...not buggyanymore.
twidroid pro has multiple accts and so does touituer pro. both work well right now i have 5 dif twitter accts and so i use dif clients for dif accounts to test them
Why would you need 5 different Twitter accounts? Just wondering.
no charge for seesmic's multi account feature
I use tweetcaster by Handmark. Very nice app switched from twidroid. Like Twidroid ther is a "pay" pro version.
I like the colorization of the links in Touiteur, I like the ability to exit the app in Twidroid and Seemic, and I like the minimalistic approach of twicca.
But, I end up using Touiteur more than any other. I have no use for widgets, and I only have a single Twitter account (and that may change at a later date, but for now it is the one and only) and Touiteur works the way I want it to. Since they added native re-tweets, along with a simple mechanism for the old style RTs, I can say it has gotten a lot better.
Credit / props to Brett Lewis for turning me on to this app.
well i have my own personal one @mcorbett26
me and my wife are starting a webcomic so we have that one @scribblepeople
i run a wrestling site @wrestlingrevo
I have a music site thats down sadly, but it may return @mikesmusic60
and i have another wrestling site for different stuff @doawrestling
ps follow any one of them
Tweetcaster here also. I tried all other mentioned apps (except Twicca) and always went back to Tweetcaster.
Touiteur. It doesn't try to be pretty, it is. One of the things I enjoy about apps are how well executed they are in functionality and appearance. I used Twidroid for a long time, but I felt like something was missing from the UX of the app. Dumped that for Seesmic and I kind of liked it. If not for Touiteur, I would have stayed with Seesmic. But the thing I like most about Touiteur is that it comes from the makers of BW and right now, if you follow the devs Twitter account, he spent a long time before releasing this Twitter app to get it near right. And has he stopped updating it? No. He's working on some improving the app, adding things like threaded views, etc. Touiteur hasn't been on the market as long as Twidroid or Seesmic, but it's come a long way in a short time and the UX is great.
I've tried just about all of the free ones and settled for Touituer because I liked the layout the best
