best TXT app?

    there is probably already a thread for this, but i'm too lazy to search.

    which app is the best text app?

    Search next time please... lol jk, but it is all up to your opinion. I use handcent.

    I would say chompsms or handcent. I personally like handcent and thus use that one.

    i used chomp for a while, but they all have this problem with deleting conversations. it always freezes when i try to delete conversations.

    I like handcent best but chomp seemed to be a little faster. I just hate the stupid bubbles if I figured out how to change that I'd use it.
    Both are good though. I could even live with stock and sms popup.

    Just open up handcent ---> go into settings ---> click on conversation style and choose a different style other than the bubble (iphone style)

    I know that's why I use handcent. Can't turn em off in chomp.

    I also vote for Handcent, it's the first app I recommend to anyone getting an android phone.

    Why do the apps all have trouble deleting convos? So annoying

    add me to the handcent vote. although after throwing in so many different ROMs lately i have been using stock, and its great!!

    +1 for Handcent.

    I also really like the stock sms/mms app on the Moto Cliq XT. So on that phone I'm just using that.
