Best UK weather app

    Hi all,

    I know there have been lots of threads about weather apps, but I was wandering if someone could recommend the best app for weather in the UK. I've tried quite a few but not really been 100% happy with any. Definitely need the ability to display in Celcius with an easy to read 5 day forecast etc.

    Try 'Fancy Widget' for weather and a clock displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius. If you don't need the clock then you can always tray Palamary Weather's full featured app. The paid version has a widget as well.

    I use yr.no weather widget, the old done though that is not available in the market.

    The Weather Channel is the one to go for - save locations, hourly forecast, 36 hour forecast, 10 day forecasts, satellite imagery etc......solid and reliable....just the job

    I use yr.no, and I can assure you it IS available through the market. :)

    NOT the old version with HTC style clocks!

    The hourly forecast is pretty poor for the UK though. It always seems to think it's raining.

    Have tried a couple. Liked WeatherBug the best but like mentioned above the forecasts were very inaccurate. I now have a shortcut set up to the mobile version of the met office website. Not slick, no widget (got Sense, complete with windscreen wiper for that!), but the most accurate weather I know of.

    Palmary is nice, but without a widget having a weather ap is completely pointless IMO.
