... apologies for the wide ranging post.

Have had my hero for a few weeks. Love it, but until this weekend I've
not had a chance to fully setup/customise.

I'm wondering if people can recommend some widgets that are better than the original HTC ones.

    In particular
    - Email
    - Weather (is there one that includes wind?)

    But maybe also
    - Clock
    - Calendar
    - Music
    - Camera (is there a widget type thing for the camera)
    - Browser

.... and anything else I should have....
Prefer free stuff, but don't mind paying if it's worth it.

I'll fully go through the 'must have apps' thread at home tomorrow too.

    thanks

    Calendar

I use the stock HTC widget so not much help here.

    Music

Oh man, there are loads, the best ones i've found are either the stock htc one, or tune wiki, to be honest i use my zune hd (AMAZING btw) for music so don't really use the Hero.

    Browser

Either Steel or Dolphin, both are very good, its a preference thing which to go for, i use both depending on my mood!

No probs, its not an extensive list so I'd say take a look around yourself too, might be something that suits you more, and let us know if you do find anything :p

Totally off topic, but what's with the barcode blocks in your post lekky? I am assuming there is some app where you point the phones camera at the barcode and it takes you straight to the relevant app on the app store.

    Would like to know more,

    Ben
