Okay this is strange. I have the stock Contact app on my Droid. If I touch the Contact icon I go to the application.

Now if I use Better Cut to create a shortcut to the Contact app, it goes through the process and puts an icon on the screen...but when I touch that icon it says.."You do not have this application installed on your phone.

I have used Better Cut to change stock icons for things like Browser so I know that is not the issue. Any thoughts?

I am running a stock Android w 2.1 Update 1 ESE81. I use Home++ for my home application. I cleared the default and went back to Home thinking maybe that was the problem but even there I have the same issue.

OK. Thanks for the update. I'm still not seeing a common factor here...
