I'm looking for some better ring tones. I don't like songs as ring tones, I prefer more professional sounding effects. I've tried zedge, but just not getting anything I like out of it. Maybe I'm just too picky, but I thought I would ask if anyone has any suggestions.

Mabilo Ringtones in the market. Has all sorts of categories. I've gotten some good tones from video games (Metal Gear Solid codec sound and other cool retro sounds).

I agree. Need ringtones for a business setting. Lady Gaga just doesn't cut it.

Run a search for RCP in the Market, for 2-3 sets at $1.99 per. Refundable during 24h trial if you dislike them. The Classic version works well for me. Loud enough to hear, but generic/business so no embarrassment.

+1! Also, stock ring tones are horrible! What happened to simple and discreet 'beep.' sounds?

My solution was to re-record some of the sounds from my old Palm for my notifications. :D

I would also like a "ring once" option like my last phone had. The only solution I have is to create my own 10 minute ringtone.

Just make your own. :) If you don't like having music as ringtones, try finding some interesting sounds in your favorite songs, cut them up, and create little sound effect files you can use for ringtones, notifications, etc.

I've created a ton of different system sounds using pieces of Radiohead songs. :)
