Root Black Messaging App/Themes FRG83D Deodexed ROM

Having a hard time finding themes for rooted FRG83D deodexed ROM. The GF wants a black text messaging app instead of the white one. Any help would be much appreciated.

You can flash Pete's Bugless Beast .6.2.1 it is as close to stock as you can get, but it has the Gingerbread look so the messaging app and its threads are black. It is still froyo but it has the look you are asking for.

You can use Rom Manager to get it. Just please make a backup of your Gf current Rom before flashing a new one (not trying to insult just making sure I don't make assumptions about your knowledge with flashing Roms).

Will give that a try. She was running Cyanogen but had so many issues with the latest release. A little disappointed. Thanks for the info. And don't worry, I will nandroid.
