blackberry-esque vibe/ring/silent

before eris, i had a bb 8330 curve. now, i love my eris, but i hate the vibrate/silent thing. i'd like to be able to set things up the way i had them on my curve with the profiles...sms/mms buzz once, phone calls buzz 3 times, or some things silent others buzz, etc. does anyone know of a way to do this?

and no, i dont capitalize. deal with it, grammar-nazis, i iz lernt gud.

look up the app EAR, works just like BB profiles. that or quick profiles i think it is called, but i like EAR better.

Had been using Quick Profiles....will check out EAR now....thanks Caddy....and ditto on what everyone's said...you ARE a big help to all here.

ear doesn't allow enough customization and quick profiles' reviews speak of an issue even after uninstalling, so im out on both.

I use Quick Profiles. Works pretty good and allows you to turn on/off other things like wi-fi or Bluetooth. Then I customize things a bit in my SMS app (Chomp) and notifications app (Missed Reminder).

I would be pretty satisfied with the whole setup if I could only feel the vibe : ( Not sure if that's even fixable.
