Anybody have any advice on headsets that work really well or really poorly with the X?
Bluetooth headphones? Or a Bluetooth headset? Your subject title and post seem to contridict each other...
Indeed they do, sorry. Headset. For making calls with.
Have the Jawbone Icon and I don't have any problems
Plantronics Voyager PRO FTW!
I just got the blueant S4 since I only wear the headset normally when I drive I figure I would try the car unit and so far its been very impressive. You never have to touch the unit to make a call and everyone I have talked to said I sound normal and they can not tell I am not on the handset.
I bought an Icon, but I also wanted a MOTO something or another (they were both retail $100+)
I'm not fully sold on the in ear fitment, bu I will give it a week. I need to hear the sound quality before I get too bent out of shape.
Likewise, I see they have an iphail app for the icon, I would like to see one for the android.
But I did buy it for the multipoint ability. I have it constantly paired wth both my crackberry and my DX.
Same here. I only wear mine while driving. I picked up the Motorola H17 and so far it's been great. I haven't used it more than a few times but the call clarity is good and it immediately pairs with my X.

I went with blueant T1, has app on the market for it.
Reads your text to you and tells you who its from before it reads it to you.
Also cuts out wind noise up to 22mph!!!
Blueant Q1 is also good, reads texts to you.
Call clarity is top notch.
werd! i only use mines for driving as its big as a mofo. but feels light on the ear with the even weight distribution. call clarity is awesome too.
Got a Jawbone Icon myself. The A2DP works like a champ for streaming music/all audio from the handset. Voice dialing is also golden, no complaints.
Motorola H17TXT..very cool features if way too expensive. It's streaming and will actually tell you the incoming texts and allow for voice commands to reply in a voice to text message or just call back. Very cool stuff, should be standard for bluetooth's.

Jawbone icon here also, it works great
I think this thread is getting a little off....as far as headsets go.
