I have had success in pairing my EVO one time in my Mitsubishi outlander. It worked great, but since then it wont pair up. I have tried re-pairing and it wont go.

When my car asks for the pairing code, the EVO brings up the keypad to enter it and then it says pairing failed before I have a chance to input the code.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, not having the hands free for calls while driving is a royal pain in the backside.

That is odd and I bet a huge pain. I had issues with the Hero and my camry...but not with the EVO

Is the "discovering" option on the Evo timing out or the car BT timing out? Set the EVO to discover before you ask the car to pair...
