I have searched but cannot find an answer to this. I have a friend who has an older android phone, I think it is a vodaphone branded phone, he has the ability to turn on bluetooth and if a connection is not made within a short time bluetooth automatically turns off and it also turns off if it is not connected for a short period. Sounds ideal if you want to connect to a head unit (bluetooth enabled car radio)

I have seen such an app for android but it was only for Andriod 1.5 (or 1.6) and not any version newer than that - is there such a thing for 2.1 and 2.2 in the future?

    Thanks

Contact the app developer of the 1.5 version?

It is called 'Bluetooth QuickToggle' and on investigation he has already been asked a few times for a 2.X update.

Does anyone know of any other apps that work in similiar way - and work on 2.X?
