If this has been posted, or is already common knowledge, forgive my folly.
My Eris contact pohtos kept coming out blurry when I know I uploaded nice clear files to each contact. Well, I figured it out, the contact pictures are uploaded to your gmail account when you sync the contacts, and when they auto sync, the pics assigned to each person are re-downloaded each time, in low res form.
The only way I know how to stop this from happening is to disable the auto sync feature for Google contacts. If anyone knows of another way to stop this from happening, that would be awesome info to share.
