in case you're considering the purchase of a new bmw it's important for you to know that unbelievably our evo's aren't supported by their bluetooth! on the website is a list of phones that is supported, the evo is not.

i've been trying to get my phone to pair with a 2011 car i got last week and haven't had any luck. called bmw and they told me the reason is that i have a non-supported phone. wow...

anyway, if you're looking for a new car, specifically bwm, and this important to you then be sure to do your homework first!

I had the same problem with my 2009. Found the solution somewhere online... Go to settings. Accounts & sync. Facebook. Remove the account. All of your contacts should now sync with the car. Then try adding your facebook account back. This worked for me.
