Root [Boost Mobile] ADB / USB port not functioning

SO here's the skinny
Im not sure when but a while back when changing rom's the extra usb feature that pops up with the zte drivers stopped working. I just remember thinking cool nice to not have that in my face each time I use the damned phone.

However there was a dark magic afoot and adb stopped working, this I just found out when I tried to push a new rom over. Now most of you will rightly ask what did I do right before it stopped working. I don't know, I am a full time student and was having some problems with the rom I was using and just tried flashing a few different ones until it was stable again. If memory serves it needed a baseband update or something of that nature.

so I have mac windows and ubuntu ava, and the first thing I did was try another computer then I bought a new usb cable so I tried that.

I posted a ton of stuff on mr bebo's noob rom thread because at first that was where I thought if came from. I think it just happened when I was trying other roms and I must have got a corrupt download in the mix (lets go back to posting md5 sum's of the rom's) I'll try and transpose all of the info over here.

Stuff I have tried
new computer - adb works with other android deviced
new usb port
new usb cable
reflowing usb port (heat gun for doing xboxes and ps3's)

with the phone plugged into the computer: open dialer and enter *983*87274# choose AT.

should be a reasonable log of the at test

I also flashed several different signed roms
also tried adb during bootup and in cwr and twrp both in the main screen and in usb mounted mode

flashed signed rom with factory recovery to try ftl mode with zte tool and ota update both failed

here is a logcat from right before, waiting 5 sec then removing

[Logtalk] --------- beginning of /dev/log/main I/AmazonAppstore.DynamicResources.Resource - Pastebin.com

from what i’m guessing

i see dun_service on line 111 it thinks usb is only being unplugged???

I dunno and i don't know what a logcat for a successful usb storage event should be
