Root [Boost Mobile] HELP! Need to root Tri-Band SPH-L710T after OTA latest update (L710TVPU0AO3)

If so, then I don't know what I did, I'm not a very experienced user, all I know is that I'm running AOF2 with Philz recovery 6 and root

Really? Because I'm rooted with the latest firmware, I flashed Philz with Odin

When I was on AO3, boot in recovery mode (Philz)> Wipe Cache Partion> Advance> Wipe Dalvik Cache> Wipe Data/Factory Reset> Clean to install a New ROM> Wipe Cache Partion> Advance> Wipe Dalvik Cache

Then boot in download mode, open Odin flash the TAR, it takes 10 to 15 min to complete, after phone restarts and finish booting, turn off phone, boot in download mode, flash Philz and root.

MAYBE IS RISKY OR STUPID, LOL BUT IT WORKED FOR ME! I COULD END UP WITH A BRICKED PHONE

My phone is working good I'm having one issue so far, trying to update Facebook app, phone restarts over and over again 4 to 5 times, uninstall it, phone back to normal but I can't install Facebook back again, tried it but phone start to restart over and over again, any word on that?

I took the update via Kies, pulled the TAR, I did a wipe data/ factory reset> clean for a New Install ROM using Philz, boot in download mode, then flashed the TAR with Odin, got my phone completely back to stock, boot in download mode again, then flashed Philz again with Odin, then boot in recovery mode, hit reboot system now, apply root, installed SuperSU

I don't remember doing anything else

for some reason i had to do a factory reset on my phone through stock recovery then i tried it still would not let me flash philz.... so i then removed kies from my pc and then ran Odin as admin and then i was able to flash the philz recovery.... guess kies was interfering with it or something

so after triing all night i was able to get twrp installed last night after taking the AOF2 update ...... but twrp will not root my phone so i had to flash philz d2lte and root it that way....

the new update added som option called (REACTIVATION LOCK) and when its eneabled it stops you from booting a cutom recovery.... and the phone seems a lil sluggish after the update..... maybe a DEV poking around can take a look at it and tell us what the update was

Install philz recovery using odin and then boot into recovery and selct philz options and select root reboot phone go to play store and update/install SuperSU

Turn your phone off, boot in "download mode" Vol Down + Home + Power

Open Odin on your PC

Connect phone to PC (Make sure you have USB drivers installed), press Vol Up on the phone, wait for Odin to recognize your phone

Uncheck Auto Reboot, make sure F. Reset Time is checked, click on PDA and add the Philz recovery TAR, then click Start

Wait for phone to boot completely, then boot into recovery mode Vol Up + Home + Power, press Reboot System Now, then it should ask you to apply root, press Yes.

F.Reset needs to be checked... the option to reboot the device after flash needs to be un-checked because sometimes the default recovery will stay....

Oh! I apologize for that, so F.Reset needs to be checked and Auto reboot after flash has to be unchecked, right?

I updated to OF2 and rerooted as others have mentioned previously.
1. Flash OF2 tar in Odin
2. Flash Philz tar in Odin
3. Root in Philz
4. Install SuperSU app

F. Reset check
Auto Reboot not check
Reactivation Lock not check

Can somebody make a tar file of the new OH1 update (includes stagefright patch) so we can flash in Odin?

I unrooted by flashing stock tar but OTA update won't install. There is a zip file on XDA that people say you can flash in stock recovery but it's not working for me. I flash but I get some error messages and my phone doesn't update.

make sure you guys get the ota for the stagefright patch.... if your running stock... if your sporting a rom u might want to ask the devs if they have implemented the patch in the rom

Yeah mines stuck it aborts LOL oh well it's not a huge update, I'd rather have a custom ROM for us TriBands at this point.
