Help Brand new to Tabs and Android

I am brand new to the world of tablets, and the Android OS, so be kind!

I just picked up a Galaxy Tab 10.1. It came with the Honeycomb version. Can I and if I can, should I upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich?

Also, can a stylus pen be used with it? I have fat fingers!

Welcome aboard, skyjammer.
By all means, update to ICS. Noticable improvement over HC.
I'd also recommend doing a factory reset before you update. It's a bit more work, but minor.
This will give you a nice, clean installation of ICS.
Yes, you can use a stylus. I use one all the time with my tab.

Go into the settings menu. You'll see an entry for "backup and reset" and one that says "About device". Under about device there's an entry for software update.
Under backup and reset, follow istructions. The reset puts the tab in out of the box, factory condition.
