Can anyone direct me to where the brightness widget is? The one where you can toggle the screen brightness.. I can't find it under widgets.. Either its not there (as in, it wasnt a default widget) or I am completely blind.

I remember seeing this widget in alot of Android OS vids and would like to easily switch brightnesses depending on the environment

New to android as well. If you use the power control widget and change the brightness settings, does that turn off the automatic brightness adjustment? Also, in the widget, do you know what the middle icon is for?

    Thanks

The middle button toggles the GPS. As for the brightness, I think it does turn off the automatic setting, but I could be wrong.

It turns off the automatic setting, you have to go back in and select automatic.
