Broken Home button! Ideas?

I've got a Droid X, great phone, but the warranty just ran out....and then my home button broke. It no longer works, no matter how i push or hold it. It's basically just loosely attached now, and it doesn't pop back up like a working button.
I don't want to pay to get a new one, or pay to have it fixed. Does anyone have any free (or cheap) fixes/workarounds? If it helps, I'm running a custom ROM, Liberty 3 (android 2.3.3), would be open to flashing a new ROM, or installing a sweet new app.
