About a year ago my phone had some acid from my work (at a car wash) spilled on it. It stopped working and I got the water damage repaired and everything worked fine. A few weeks ago the screen starting doing something where it would flicker green and I could see the screen refreshing at an incredibly slow rate and when I would lock it and try to turn it back on it won't. The digitizer still works though. Occasionally it'll work for 30 seconds to a few minutes but it starts flashing green then turning off again...

I'm planning on getting the LCD replaced but I wanted to check here to get your all's opinion on whether or not this is the real issue before I spend money on it.
