Let me start by saying both of these happened in my first G1, main reason for me to request a replacement, but they are happening on my second G2 as well, so I'm at a loss for ideas. I am also illustrating these bugs with a video, in order to make explaining them easier. Sorry about the landscape format. Bug 1: http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=9s6lu1&s=4 When I open my Camera application, I get a message error saying "Please insert SD card before using the camera". If I open my Pictures application, thumbnails are "broken". Now, the first time I use either of these applications after rebooting the phone, they work fine. Maybe the second time too. It's only after the third time that I start experiencing this. I blamed this on my new SanDisk 8GB card, so I replaced it by a 2GB one. The problem is still there, although I now get to open these applications 3-5 times before the problem starts happening. The only way to get pictures back is rebooting again. Bug 2: http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=34fy2pz&s=5 Many times (most times, actually), I am using an application and when I hit Home, the home screen is shown, but no icons appear on there for quite a while. The application "drawer" cannot be opened or is empty during this time as well. You can imagine how frustrating this is when you are trying to do something quickly. Whenever I am using an application and need to switch to another, I need to wait 7-10 seconds before I can make that second selection. Could it be because I have too many icons on my screen? If that's the case, what's the purpose of having 3 available screens to populate with shortcuts? Like I said, both of these problems happened with both of my phones. They also happened with both of the SD cards (8GB and 2GB). Any idea what could be causing either of these? Thanks in advance!
