I went to the latest update which has night mode and pinch zoom on the maps (2.1 ported, woot) - and my Trapster won't work.
I know that there may be issues with other programs using GMaps, is anyone else with this version having map problems with any other program and 7.4?

I like the pinch and I love the night mode, but I am back to 7.2 now.

Did you try this method talked about at AllDroid -- replacing a jar file from 7.2? Don't know if it will work with Trapster, but it fixed several other apps for me (Places Directory, MyTracks, My Maps Editor, etc).

Might not be a true fix because when the maps app is launched from a third party app you don't get multitouch, but hey, at least it works!

Can either of you guys answer a couple things for me about the update?

1.) Does pinch zoom work on maps when launched from a third-party app, or just the Google Maps app itself?

2.) Can you zoom in Navigation mode?

    Thanks.

Just lent my husband the droid for the day so I can't answer the second, but as to the first, P/Z worked when I launched maps out of two different apps I tried (Where and Places)...didn't really investigate further.
