Calendar only partially syncing

Yesterday I did the Icecream Sandwich update and now my calendar is only syncing birthdays from both accounts. When I click on calendars to display and calendars to sync all three accounts are checked off and state that they are synced yet only birthdays are coming through. I don;t know what to do.
