calender changing my saved datesSupport

    I am having problems with the calender changing the days I have appointments set for. I set a b-day appointment for the 29th and was looking yesterday and it said it was set for the first. I deleted it and started over with the 29th, check this morning and it says the 1st again.

    Question.. are you using google calender or other??

    Dumb answer but how do you tell which you are using. By that do you mean app wise or do you mean when I set the appointment in my calender app that i used my gmail account to store it and notify?

    Go into the calender and press more - calenders and see what ones are ticked??

    Also have you recently changed from googlemail to gmail??

    The account I use was a gmail account only. I don't remember signing for googlemail ever. I check and I have all calenders checked, google, facebook, pc sync, and general calender.

    Hmmm, thats an odd one then, i know that my calander plays up as i signed up when it was googlemail, and that how i set my phone up, but ive recenlty changed to gmail and thats causing all sorts of wierd sync problems.. havent had chance to do a factory reset yet.

    When you add an event to the calender, is it saying your gmail account in the calender box??

    yeah it is saying my gmail account.

    OK, go into settings, accounts & sync and then your gmail account, making sure that it states your gmail account, what i mean is that at the moment mine says pete.***@googlemail.com , and it should be pete.***@gmail.com, thats why im getting problems, also click into it and see if the calender is set to sync, you could try a test, by adding an event in the calender and then going back into the sync app and manually snycing it to see if it changes straight away.
