Camera 8 6 4 2 MP?Support

    One can select 8 6 4 or 2 Mp in camera settings.

    Why would I want to select less than 8?

    6M is widescreen. Smaller pics takes less space.

    As above, if all you're doing is viewing photos on your phone, there is no need to be using 8MP as they will appear to be just as good quality until you zoom right in. As for the 6MP widescreen thing, I find that really strange, I guess it might be that the phone struggles to show an 8MP preview perhaps?

    For web pages, blogs, uploads & sharing? Lower res means faster processing so take more pictures quicker. All sorts of reasons for taking smaller sized photies...

    Also the Gmail app always tells me the 8mg photo's are too large to attach. Is it limited?

    You don't understand widescreen? Have you even tried it? Having the possibility to take a closeup of ie a wide group of people is nice. :)
