Camera is not taking pics in highest qualitySupport

    I have my settings on 8MP and Highest quality. Yet my pic sizes are only 800kb and the quality is horrible

    any suggestions?

    I just looked at mine. I selected camera, selected the tools symbol and verified 8mp and high. My quality is great on my 19 inch monitor. I don't know why it doesn't work on yours. I've never done it but probably a factory reset is the only possible fix.

    I wouldn't jump straight to factory reset. But set it on the lowest, take a picture. Set it on the next up, take a picture, etc til you are back up on high quality 8MP.

    Check each picture for the dimensions, size. Maybe it just needed a switch off/on to get it working again. Try a 3rd party camera app too.

    Have you tried using the screen as opposed to the track pad to take the photos? Mine increased in clarity just from that. Steadier grip I guess.
