Ive just been reading the review of the X10 on Phone Arena Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Review (Phone Arena Reviews)

I hoped that the X10 would contain the companies best camera so far, yet it seems it loses out the the superior camera on SE's Vivaz. I don't understand why they would do this?

It's the main feature of the Vivaz isn't it?

The Vivaz seems a pretty good phone, I would have just thought that SE would have used the same tech in their X10 as its such a good phone in all other areas.

Might've been an issue of cost. The X10 is already pretty damn expensive.

As pointed out the camera is pretty much the only thing the Vivaz has going for it, a bit like my C905 :(

Perhaps they thought it would add too much to the cost or maybe they just couldn't squeeze it into the chassis.

The EU (Satio and Vivaz) phones are mostly about imaging and the Xperia ones aren't.
