Can I make it a little harder to end calls?

I have an occasional annoyance with the Hero. I think some part of my ear sometimes touches the END CALL button and I get disconnected. Is there an app or something that might make you either touch in 2 places or slide a button or some other way to make it just a bit harder to hang up?

Some just pull down the notifications bar when on a call.

I haven't had that problem yet!

I simply hold the phone away from my face, but this is a pretty elegant solution. Thanks.

Short answer: Grow a beard! :)

There was a thread a long time ago where this was discussed and it turns out that those of us with beards didn't seem to have this problem. Seems to add something of a buffer, I guess.

This is one thing that I miss about my Instinct S30 (probably the only thing) the end call button was a slide that you had to move from left to right. Something similar on the Hero would be awesome, and the beard thing works too.

I bought an app called "Screen Suite", it was available on the 1.5 and 2.1 market. It's a slide lock similar to the iphone's. It has some other things like a battery meter that I don't find particularly useful, but the lock works great and it was only like two dollars, well worth it.
