Can I use my Android phone as a WIFI AP to share my ADSL?

Hi there,

I have:

A PC with ADSL
A laptop
An Android phone (G1)

Now I want to make my G1 to be a WIFI router so that both the my PC and laptop can access the internet via ADSL. Can I connect my G1 to the PC via USB and works as a wifi router?

Download an app from the market called PdaNet. This allows you to do just that

Pdanet will allow you to connect your phone to your computer, desktop or laptop, and use the phone's data connection to access the Internet.

I have not seen a way to accomplish what you want using an Android phone. Wouldn't it be easier to buy a wireless router?

You are right. But I am just staying for less than two weeks, so ... no need to buy a new router.....Thanks.
