can not connect to Samsung KiesSupport

    I recently got a new Galaxy SII X and I downloaded the Kies software and installed it with the drivers. when I plug my phone in to try to connect it. it indicates that it is the process of connecting but it never actually does. no matter how long I wait.. I also can not connect to it over wifi (although Kies air works amazing)

    i am on Telus and am using the Canadian Variant not the t-mobile GS2 and I downloaded the software from Samsung.ca

    make sure debugging mode is not turned on in phone settings thats usually the issue

    HI, what is this debugging mode? where to check and how to turn it off?

    I don't think it's my phone I think it's my computer. i think something is going wrong when the drivers are getting installed. I can't connect to odin. I am gonna try again on another computer before I come to any comclusions

    got to settings>applications>development... you will find it there
