My droid was out of commission for a while. I let someone borrow it when their phone broke. I can not remove his gmail address manually and it prompts me to do factory reset. Factory reset is not working.
    Android version: 2.2
    Baseband: C_01.3E.03P
    Kernel: 2.6.32.9-g103d848
    Build number: Bugless Beast V0.4

I can not boot into recovery. Can anyone help. I do get a bootloader through usb have no idea how to use it.

    Are you using ROM manager?
If so, go into it and reflash clockwork and see if you can get into recovery that way.

You should also be able to reflash BB from ROM manager, select the option to wipe data and get a fresh system that way as well.
