Can not install Firefox for Android, "device isn't compatible"

I can not install the newly released (well, out of beta) Firefox for Android.

I am using a rooted ZTE Skate. ColdFusionX ROM (based on Android 4.0.4) is installed.

I get "Your device isn't compatible with this version."

Any ideas?

Not very familiar with the phone. Does it support flash? Firefox does have compatibility issues with many Android phones (my LG Optimus for example) that don't support flash.

It has a 800 MHz CPU, so I'm presuming not. Not well, at least.

I installed the apk directly and get a "Unfortunately, Firefox has stopped." message as soon as I open the app.

I found in Mozilla's site that my phone (HTC Desire) is listed as incompatible because the app causes problems specifically on that handset. Fair enough if they know that (though as I'm not running HTC software I'd like to try it for myself),

I'm having the same issue on my Android Phone that it isn't suitable with my cellphone....

Well, there are a lot of handsets out there, just like with a PC, if your specs are not up to snuff, some software are out of the question for you. At the very least, you should be thankful that you get notified that it doesn't work for your phone.
