Can the Unlocked Nexus S be Throttled by T-Mobile for excessive data usage?

Or can T-Mobile not throttle this device due to the fact if runs pure android and the t-mobile throttle source file is not present of the unlocked Nexus S?

    Any body know?

Yes it can, and yes I have been throttled. When I first got mine I was staying with a friend over the holidays and they had no home internet so all of my internet came from my phone. Once you are throttled it is painfully slow!

Here in switherland, every provider throttles your connection when reaching 2GB in one billing cycle, too. Doesn't depend on the mobile device you use! It's your account that gets throttled!
