Can Two Android Phones Share A Gmail Account?

I have my EVO as my personal phone. Now my employer is talking about getting us all a work phone. They haven't settled on which phone or even platform yet. They were just asking us which we'd prefer. The general consensus was Android and Blackberry as the two finalist.

That just got me to wondering if I were to have a second android phone could I just use the same Gmail account. Would the email/calendar/contacts all sync to both phones?

Well it's not two Android "phones" but I use the same GMail address on both my Droid X and my Witstech A81-E. No problems encountered thus far...
